Jacqui Borland,
Chief Executive Officer

Jacqui, B.Sc, Dip Ed., B.Ed.Stud, M.Ed (Spec. Ed.& Incl.), joined Aspect in 2008 as a member of the national Positive Partnerships initiative and has held the role of National Manager, Education Sectors and Program Development. She is an experienced educator who has taught in specialist and mainstream, primary and secondary settings across a number of educational sectors. Jacqui completed her Master of Education with Monash University, during which time she undertook research into special education and inclusion.

Jay Ou, Chief Financial & Information Officer

Jay, BEng (Telecomms), MAcc (Macq), joined Aspect in August 2007 and has held a number of roles including Finance Manager before being appointed National Director, Aspect Finance in April 2016. A Chartered Accountant (CA), Jay gained experience in private practice prior to joining Aspect. He has been instrumental to the development of Aspect’s financial model to address rapid changes in the disability sector whilst maintaining the organisation’s financial stability. Jay holds a Master of Accounting from Macquarie University.

Robyn Eicker

Robyn joined Aspect in September 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer. In this newly created role, Robyn brings over 30 years of Marketing and Communication experience working on leading global and Australian brands across a broad range of industries. For the past 10 years, Robyn has worked in the for-purpose sector building marketing capacity, driving fundraising and positioning brands within an NDIS environment. She is passionate about creating the best customer experience for students and participants, building brand equity, delivering engaging communications and achieving growth.

Maryanne Gosling, National Director, Aspect Education

Maryanne, B.Tch (SpecEd), B.Ed, MBA, joined Aspect in January 2020 as National Director, Aspect Education. She completed a Bachelor of Teaching (majoring in Special Education) and Bachelor of Education, before undertaking her teaching career as a primary teacher and then special needs teacher in a range of Queensland schools. Her focus and energy in these roles was in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in very remote communities. As a teacher of learning difficulties, Maryanne also led teams to develop and implement Gifted Education Programs across several schools. Later as a school leader in large metropolitan schools, Maryanne undertook studies in Business, completing a Master Of Business Administration before translating her skills into the corporate sector of education where she lead a portfolio of Organisational Transformation and Capability projects.

Olivia Shah, National Director, Fund Raising

Olivia’s passion for fundraising started over 20 years ago at the British Red Cross, often with a collection tin in hand. In the following years she has been directly responsible for leading teams all over the world and generating in excess of $50 million for some very worthy organisations. These include Guide Dogs, Pareto Fundraising, Faraja Cancer Research and the largest mental health charity in the UK Mind.

Following a data-led strategic approach, whilst keeping communications with supporters fresh and honest is at the heart of her fundraising approach. When asked to sum up her job Olivia said “Every day I get to see the very best opportunities for people on the autism spectrum being delivered. In essence our job at Aspect Fundraising is to connect people who care, with people in need, who in turn enable incredible projects to come to life. It’s a privilege to be a part of that. ”

Rachel Kerslake

Rachel, B.Speech Pathology (UQ), joined Aspect in 2008 as the Manager of Building Blocks. She has been at the forefront of navigating Aspect through the transition to the NDIS service environment and ensuring ongoing service innovation for our staff and participants and increasing service reach.

Michelle Feros, National Director, Governance, Safety & Quality

Michelle Feros FGIA FCG, B.Ec/B.A (Asian Studies), MLS&T (Prof), GradDipACGRM, joined Aspect in 2011 as Manager, Learning & Development before moving into Executive level roles as National Director responsible for People, Quality, Governance and Communications. She became Aspect’s Company Secretary in March 2020. Prior to joining Aspect, she held similar roles at The Benevolent Society and in the corporate sector.

Michelle completed her Masters in Learning Science & Technology from the University of Sydney, and her Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia, of which she is a Fellow and member of the SA & NT State Council.
