About Aspect Senior College
Aspect Senior College is a pioneering initiative by Aspect to expand the Loftus, South East Sydney, school campus. This dedicated Years 11 and 12 college will provide a nurturing, autism-specific educational environment focused on employment readiness, independent living, and further education.
Why this college is needed
An estimated 1 in 40 Australians
are on the autism spectrum
Unemployment rate for Autistic individuals is 18.2%,
significantly higher than the national average
Only 5.2% have a Bachelor degree or higher,
compared with 19.7% of all persons with disability and 35.3% of persons without disability
There is a critical gap in post-school education
options for Autistic students
Aspect Senior College will bridge this gap, offering tailored education and real-world skill development to help students transition successfully to adulthood.
Our vision & facilities
- Specialised curriculum – NSW Life Skills, Work Education, and TAFE-delivered Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
- State-of-the-Art academic facilities; STEM labs, library, multi-purpose room and kitchen facilities.
- Recreational facilities; gym equipment, basketball court and sensory area to promote physical health and sensory regulation.
