The Autism Co-operative Research Centre (CRC) has published Australia's National Guideline for the assessment and diagnosis of autism.

This study aims to gather information from both adults on the autism spectrum and the families of individuals on the autism spectrum of any age about the nature of their interactions with the police in Australia, and to investigate the ways in which the traits of autism may impact on these interactions.
