The aim of the partnership is to create a more inclusive environment in all The Athlete’s Foot Australian stores, including the introduction of Quiet Appointments which allow individuals with special needs to make an appointment through The Athlete’s Foot’s booking platform, SocialQ, and plan their visit in-store.
Aspect has been working in collaboration with The Athlete’s Foot staff for a number of months, providing training to help them understand autism and other hidden disabilities and to help create a space where everyone can feel relaxed and well supported.
A number of great resources have also been developed and available to help prepare individuals and families for their appointments and assist with communication during the fitting sessions as well. Please visit The Athlete's Foot website to find out more.
