    About Community of Practice (CoP)

    The Community of Practice brings people together across sectors to learn with and from each other, with the goal of strengthening inclusive education for Autistic learners.

    It is a collaborative space grounded in:

    • Evidence based practice

    • Lived experience

    • Shared problem-solving

    This approach supports meaningful connection, professional learning, and collective impact.

    • Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (Join us for the day or for the sessions of interest to you)
    • Location: This will be an online webinar hosted through Zoom
    • Theme: Navigating transitions across the learning lifespan

    Event focus

    This event centres on collaborative inquiry rather than traditional conference presentations.

    Participants will explore the following transition stages:

    1. Specialist school →mainstream school
    2. Preschool → primary school
    3. Primary school  → high school
    4. High school → Post-school pathways

    • Short presentations to build shared understanding
    • Panel discussion and cross-sector collaboration
    • A Q & A with an expert specialising in school transition
