Laying the foundations of inclusive education

Families, staff, and community members came together on 27 November to celebrate a major milestone - laying the foundations for the new Aspect Port Macquarie campus.

The day featured a heartfelt Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, inspiring speeches from parents and staff, and beautiful student artwork created for the new school.

Thanks to supporters like you, construction is now underway on this purpose-built, 8-classroom K - 6 campus, set to open in 2026.

The school will provide Autistic children in the Port Macquarie region with the specialised learning they deserve, giving families hope and confidence for the future.

Autism-specific education is especially important in regional areas, where access to inclusive programs and expert support is often limited.
