Engagement rules for members of Aspect School Facebook groups and WhatsApp parent groups
Community groups are unique spaces designed for connection, support, and meaningful conversations. Unlike public pages, private groups offer a more personal environment where members can share, learn, and engage with confidence. To ensure this remains a positive, supportive, and respectful space for everyone, please take a moment to read through our group rules below.
1. Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
2. No hate speech or bullying
Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
3. Respect everyone's privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.
4. No promotions or spam
Give more to this group than you take. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
5. Breach of rules may result in member exclusion
We reserve the right to delete comments that breach the above guidelines. In case of severe and/or repetitive violations of group rules, group admins may exclude a member from the group.
6. Leaving the school means leaving the private group
For privacy reasons, you will be removed from this group once your child is no longer enrolled at the school.
7. Keep messages relevant and avoid flooding the group
Please keep conversations focused on the group’s purpose. Avoid sending excessive messages, unnecessary forwards, or off-topic content to ensure everyone can engage without being overwhelmed.
