Michael Theo

Aspect Autism Consultant

Michael Theo first came to national attention as one of the stars of the hit television series Love on the Spectrum. His honest, thoughtful, and humorous approach to finding love made him a fan favourite. But as Michael is quick to say, that show was only the beginning.

Since then, Michael has built a career that spans podcasting, acting, writing, and public speaking. He hosts the Mr A+ podcast, where he interviews a wide range of guests, always with his signature warmth and curiosity. “I like to spread kindness and joy, and help people see the good in others,” says Michael.

Michael proudly identifies as Autistic and credits his diagnosis, and the support he received through Aspect, with helping him better understand himself. “I wasn’t broken—I was just different,” he reflects. “Being Autistic is nothing to be ashamed of. It’s who I am.”

Michael is passionate about acting and screenwriting and is currently working on building his career in the industry. He hopes to see more authentic portrayals of Autistic characters on screen and would love to play one himself someday.

Looking ahead, Michael has big goals but remains grounded in who he is: kind, creative, and determined to make a positive impact. “I'm still learning and growing every day. But I like who I’m becoming.
