Hi, I'm Jacqui Borland, the CEO of Aspect.
We're going through things that most of us have never been through before and I wanted to let you know what Aspect is doing to respond to the coronavirus COVID-19 crisis. Aspect's priority is on the health and well-being of our community and doing what we can to minimise the impact of the virus on our services and supports.
Currently, most of our services, therapies and schools are open and operating, and behind the scenes, we're working hard to get ready in case we need to deliver services online or remotely. To help minimize the spread of the virus we're doing a number of things. We've postponed school excursions, outings and events and workshops. And we've asked people who don't need to come to Aspect sites to stay away for the time being. We've implemented extra cleaning in our sites and we're all practising social distancing.
It is a time of uncertainty and anxiety, but I want you to know, that we're all in this together and Aspect will try to continue to support you wherever we can. And we'll let you know if things change.
If you'd like more information please go to our website or give us a call on our information line.
Thank you, stay well.
