Our study tours are ideal for school leaders, educators and policymakers who are committed to improving outcomes for Autistic students. Whether you're just beginning to explore autism-friendly practices or looking to deepen existing knowledge, the tour offers value at every stage.
How much does the study tour cost?
Costs vary depending on the package selected (domestic or international) and any custom additions such as extended visits or consultancy. Once we understand your team’s needs, we’ll provide a tailored quote. We aim to offer flexible options to suit a variety of budgets.
What’s included in the cost?
All packages include guided school visits, access to workshop sessions led by Aspect experts, all materials and resources, and participation in group activities. For international groups, logistical support such as transport coordination and accommodation guidance is also available. Accommodation and food/drinks are not included.
Can we customise the tour to suit our goals?
Absolutely. Our tours are designed to be flexible. We can tailor the program to meet your team’s learning priorities, including selecting specific schools to visit, adjusting workshop focus areas, or adding post-tour consultancy or mentoring sessions.
Will we have direct interaction with Autistic students or individuals?
Yes, where appropriate and with consent, participants will hear from Autistic individuals through Q&A panels, classroom visits, and shared learning sessions. We believe authentic Autistic voice is essential to meaningful professional development.
What types of schools will we visit?
You’ll visit a range of Aspect primary and secondary schools across the Central Coast and Hunter regions in NSW. These schools are purpose-built or modified for autism-friendly education, and showcase a variety of learning environments, including early years, primary, and senior settings.
When do Study Tours take place?
Our Study Tours are scheduled on demand to suit the needs and timing of each group. Whether you’re planning months in advance or looking for a tour during a specific school term, we’ll work with you to find the right time. We recommend enquiring early to secure preferred dates and ensure the best experience for your team.
How many people can attend?
The ideal group size is 10–15 participants. This allows for rich engagement, interactive sessions, and meaningful discussion throughout the tour. However, we can accommodate larger or smaller groups by tailoring the program and logistics to suit your team’s needs.
Can you help us with travel and accommodation planning?
Yes. While we don’t book flights or hotels directly, we can offer support and guidance to make your travel and accommodation planning easy. We can recommend locations, providers, and assist with scheduling and transport coordination.
Will we receive any resources or materials to take back to our team?
Yes. All participants receive digital and/or printed materials from the workshops, as well as tools, templates, and resources that can support your continued learning and implementation post-tour.
