How iPads can assist in learning for children with autism
Aspect's very own Craig Smith, Coordinator at Aspect Hunter School, has recently flown to New Zealand to be a keynote speaker at Autism New Zealand's annual conference in Nelson. Smith, who works as an educational outreach consultant for Autism Spectrum Australia chatted with Nelson Mail about how iPads can assist children who have autism at school.
In the article, Smith said that iPads fitted in naturally with the way children with autism like to learn, adding that, "Ninety per cent of what an autistic child takes in is visual.
