Aspect Hunter School for Children with Autism

Aspect Hunter School is holding its 30th Anniversary Celebrations on Sunday 18 November, 10am-3pm at Tocal Homestead, Tocal Road, Paterson. Everyone is welcome to attend and entry is by donation. If you wish to attend, please RSVP to the school by 9 November.

A Transition School

  • Shortland (Base)
  • Tarro (Satellite)
  • Abermain (Satellite)
  • Cardiff (Satellite)

Providing skills and support to students with autism and Asperger's who are looking to enter mainstream and support classes. Ages 3 years, 10 months to 8 years.

Early Intervention (centre-based & home-based)
Early Intervention caters for children with communication and social skills difficulties, ages 0-6 years.

Outreach & Consultancy
Providing strategies to help parents, teachers, and support staff to provide the best opportunities for people with autism in a range of settings on a fee for service basis.

Training
Training seminars for parents, carers, and education and health professionals. Training can be tailored to suit individual and group needs.

School Open Days
The school holds an open day once a term for parents, carers, education and health professionals to gain a greater understanding of the support and services we provide in the area.
