Get involved in World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, 2013 by hosting your own event and helping to raise awareness about autism. You might decide you want to raise some much needed funds to help people with autism achieve their potential at the same time.

At school
Are you a teacher, Principal or do you have children at school? Join the Blue Brugade to encourage your school to Go Blue for autism in April. We have:

At home
- Use social media to spread the word. Change your Facebook profile picture and cover photo.
- Host a party with a blue theme.
- Display a poster at your local cafe or business to let everyone know it is World Autism Awareness Day.
- Bake a cake, ice it blue and share with family and friends.
- Write to your local school or the school your children go to to encourage them to get involved.

- Have everyone dress in blue for the day.
- Buy some autism ribbons to sell at your workplace.
- Display a poster to let everyone know it is World Autism Awareness Day.
- Organise a morning tea with a blue theme to get people talking about autism.
